Mindful Margaret River has rebranded as Mind-Ed
Mindful Margaret River is no more, but fear not – the community alliance has announced a new name and outlook.
Now known as Mind-Ed, the group said it has retooled its “brand identity” to strengthen community mental health and wellbeing.
Mind-Ed chair Marilyn Hopkins said the rebrand would help drive the group into its next stage.
“We’ve rebranded as Mind-Ed to make it even clearer who we are and what to do,” she said.
“Our new name reflects our commitment to connecting people with support, education, and hope, right here in our community.”
The original group was formed out of frustration by an alliance of local figures including those in medical and mental health fields, fueled by concerns services pledged to the region either didn’t have the funding to reach residents, or flew beneath the radar and were too hard to find by those in crisis.
Chief executive Erin Statz said the groups’s new look would roll out across Mind0Ed’s website, publications and community programs in coming weeks.
“Our new identity as Mind-Ed is a fresh start, but our mission remains the same: to bring people together; reduce stigma, and make mental health support accessible for all, ” she said.
“The new brand provides clarity about who we are, what we do and, most importantly, how we can connect people with the support they need. We believe in the power of community. Mind-Ed is built on local voices, local action, and a shared commitment to wellbeing. Together; we’re creating a future where everyone feels supported.”
